Terms of Service

These terms are between you (the business using SubbieChase) and [business legal name], ABN [ABN] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What SubbieChase does — and doesn't do

SubbieChase records the compliance documents you and your subcontractors upload, tracks their expiry dates, sends reminders, and produces reports of what is on record.

SubbieChase does not assess, approve, verify or certify that any document is adequate, genuine, current with its issuer, or suitable for any purpose, and it does not give safety, legal, insurance or workplace health and safety advice. A "valid" status only means a document is on record with an expiry date that hasn't passed. You remain responsible for your own obligations, including checking that each subcontractor's insurance, licences and safety documents are appropriate for the work.

2. Automatic reading of documents

SubbieChase can use an AI service to suggest details (such as the expiry date) from an uploaded file. Suggestions can be wrong. They are only used after a person in your organisation checks and confirms them, and you are responsible for what you confirm.

3. Your account and your data

• You are responsible for your team's logins and for what they do in your organisation.
• You must have a proper basis to upload your subcontractors' information and to have us email them reminders on your behalf.
• You keep ownership of your data. We use it only to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy).
• You can permanently delete a subcontractor or your whole organisation at any time from the app. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 7 days.

4. Trial, plans and payment

• New organisations get a 14-day free trial with no card required.
• Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in Australian dollars, and include GST.
• You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; your plan continues to the end of the period you've paid for. [Refund policy to be confirmed.]
• If a trial ends without a plan, your data stays viewable but adding new work and reminders pause.

5. Availability

We aim to keep SubbieChase available and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. Reminder emails can be delayed or not delivered (for example, if an email address is wrong or a message is filtered as spam), so don't rely on them as your only check.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, [limitation of liability wording to be settled with a lawyer].
